My prized collection has been years in the making and is constantly changing. The most important part for me is not the value of the individual items, but the stories behind them and the joy they’ve given me over the years.
Colorado Avalanche (Quebec Nordiques)
The Colorado Avalanche were my first real NHL team. Â I did not grow up with hockey, but really became a fan when the Denver Grizzlies came to town, followed shortly by my beloved Avs. Â Older Avs jerseys are hard to find, and I am always looking for quality jerseys from 1995-2000.
Stanley Cup Finals
Since old Avs jerseys have been so hard to come by, I branched out and started collecting SCF jerseys. Â My plan is to eventually get one jersey from each team in each final, back to 1990. Â The older ones are definitely harder and more expensive to find, but the search is part of the fun. Â Always looking for quality SCF jerseys from 1990 to 2019.

Dedicated Colorado Avalanche, Hall of Fame and Stanley Cup Final Jersey (Sweater) Collector.
I started collecting by accident in 1995 when I purchased my first game worn jerseys from the Denver Grizzlies.  Then the Avalanche came to town and my addiction quickly grew thanks to Bill Goodspeed (now deceased).  My collection focuses on the Avalanche from 1995-2000, with a few others thrown in.  Recently I expanded and started collecting Hall of Fame players and Stanley Cup Final jerseys.  I also have some minor league, primarily from the Iowa teams, which is where I now live.  I also have a few pieces of equipment, a few sticks and some autographed photos and pucks.  Many items have special meaning, others are just a piece of history.
